OBX Part 3

Our trip was just wonderful. Good weather , laid back atmosphere and wonderful friends!!!! The end of our trip was filled with beach days , pool afternoons and evenings on the beach taking photos of my beautiful friends!!!!!

We took the boys to a lighthouse and they were all excited to climb the 220 steps up.....then about 10 steps up Z declared " no climb mommy , carry". And because I am a sucker I carried his adorable 38lb booty up and down the entire thing! 

They could of spent hours just letting the waves catch them.

We have photos of Matt holding Max up like this since his first beach trip when he was 6 months old. Lets see how many years we can keep it up!

See all those umbrellas and families behind us? What I don't have a photo of is when Maxwell dropped his trunks to potty on the beach! 

Now here are all my gorgeous friends and the highlight...an engagement!

It was a great week and we were sad to see it end! Definitely a trip we want to take again. We loaded up late Friday night and headed out around 4:30 Saturday morning! The trip home was a breeze. Sleepy buddies and easy traffic! We only stopped twice and were home in 10 ish hours! In true Hampton fashion we completely unpacked that night and even made it to Roosters for dinner!
