Spring Break
Last week was Maxwell's spring break and boy did we need it!!! I had the week off and we had an " adventure " everyday of some sort!!!! Be prepared for photo overload.
We went to Jump and Jacks and hit every square inch of that place. Their favorite part is that there I can go up and play with them. We hadn't been in about 5 months and it was fun to see how much braver they have become!!
They had a special date with Grandma and Gizmo while we went to dinner for my sister in laws birthday. Picnic inside , new Max and Ruby Dvd and all kinds of giggles. They were worn out when we picked them up which makes for an easy bedtime routine for mama!!
Max had his first tball pratice. He was very cautious and kept daddy close by the whole time but ended up having a great time! When we went back this week his response was " well why are we doing that ? I already did that last week. Isn't that enough tball?"
A kind friend handed down their powerwheel to us and oh lawdy has it been a hit! Ironically enough Max wants Z to drive. I did not expect that!Their laughter the first night was the best !!
We made our first trip to the Boonshoft and LOVED it. So much so we bought an annual pass!!! Max has asked about every other day if we can go back!!
Made our first trip of the year to the zoo. The weather was iffy but those are my favorite days because it keeps the crowds away and they can have a little more freedom to explore. Not the kind of freedom that gets you in a gorilla pit but still. ( Too soon?)
We went to the bookstore for fresh books and I somehow convinced them to take me to lunch :)
We rounded out our break with tball and ice cream!!!
We should be back in school this week but all of our adventures last week meant we must of touched everyone's germs in a 20 mile radius. Pink eye , flu like virus and needing alot of rest have kept us home this week as well. Ready to get these boys feeling better so we can have a great weekend celebrating Easter!!!
