5 Months
Holy Moly where has the time gone ? I am shocked that our little man is already 5 months old. Every month brings new things and each phase I am sure will be my favorite...till the next one :) This month Max has really started showing off his personality. He loves being talked to and praised for his good looks ( typical man haha), he loves blowing bubbles, he loves having everything within reach in his mouth and even if its not made for the mouth...he will find away to make it work.
He had his first overnight this month and loved it ! Even mom did ok :) He is officially rolling. I of coursed missed the actual first time. He was on the floor on his back , I ran upstairs to get my shoes and came back down and he was on his belly. My first reaction was of course excitement but then I thought...oh no...this means no more swaddling. I spent the rest of the day preparing for a long night of no sleep and feeling guilty that this little baby wouldn't have his comfy swaddle blanket anymore. As usual Max totally surprised me, he went to sleep with no problems and didn't seem to mind his lack of swaddling at all. The first night he slept on his back like normal but on night number 2 he flipped over to his belly and found his comfy spot. This makes Matt and I so nervous. I would maybe not be as freaked if he laid his sweet little head to the side and snoozed but nope....he rests his head on his hands and looks straight down. We have tried to move him once he is asleep and every time we are greeted with a rude little grunt and a flip right back over :) Thankfully I know he is fine ....and I have a video monitor to just make sure every so often ( cough cough ever 5 minutes ).
Also this month he finally has " agreed " to nap in his crib. For a baby who has slept in his crib since about 4 weeks old and loves it , you would think I was torturing him when I tried to have him nap in his crib. It wasn't even a " oh let him cry for a few and he will be fine...". I had already decided that I was going to do Crib Naptime Bootcamp this week while Matt is gone but the little stinker finally gave in a couple of weeks ago :) He is his mamas boy , loves his sleep and prefers it in his bed !!!!!!!

Weight: Not sure , guessing close to 17 lbs
Length: I'm not exactly sure but this little man is shooting out all of his clothes , not because they are too tight , they are all too short! I think we will have a tall boy on our hands!
Clothes: He is pretty much is all 6 month outfits :)
Sleep at Night: His little regression is getting better ...slowly. Of course rolling has thrown a loop into this but he is working it out !
Yummys: He is still on his formula. He's been eating 6-8oz every 3-4 hours during the day still. He has now tried rice cereal and oatmeal cereal. He is showing more interest in what we are eating so I am sure once he gets a taste of other things he is going to be a happy boy!
Favorite Things: Anything he can get in his mouth, his exersaucer, Sophie teether, Daddys silly faces , reading books with Mommy and any attention from people :) Hes starting to be quite the ham
Not So Favorite Things: Getting his boogies wiped , taking a break from playing to eat
What I'm Good at:Playing , rolling , burping :)
Places I Like to go:Grammy and Papaws, Gizmo and Grandmas, Walks to Starbucks, Roosters, anywhere that Mommy and Daddy are
Looking Forward to: More time in the pool :)
