Been awhile

Ive been a little absent from my lonely little blog. It's not that I haven't had stories to tell or pictures to show, I've just been a busy little housewife. Becoming Mrs Hampton has proven to be ( not that I didn't already know ) the biggest blessing of my life. Yes, it makes me thankful for Matt and all he does but more importantly it reminds me daily of Gods power. To think that 30 years ago when I was an infant He already had a plan , that at that moment he was helping a little boy grow into the man I now call my husband. I think about how my mom and Al talked to me about praying for my husband when I was a young girl. I remember so clearly praying for him and trusting God to bring him to me when the time was right. I am so glad I waited for him. I'm sure my obsessive bragging is annoying but it's not as much bragging about Matt as it is talking about God and His perfect plan. I mean don't get me wrong , I could go on for days about the amazing man I get to call my husband ;) !

With the craziness of life finally settling in , we've been able to visit a new church and I think it could be the one we call " home ". We both feel challenged and encouraged when we leave. It's been such a blessing and I'm looking forward to connecting more as we meet people there. I know this can be such a struggle for some couples. Finding the right fit in your church home is difficult but I truly believe there is a fit for everyone.

Can't believe it's April already !! 2012 is shaping up to be a busy year already. Kristyn is about to have baby #2 ( I literally mean like any time now , we have been walking all day trying to jump start her labor. ) , we are visiting Vegas in May with dear friends , I have a month of wig busting for Wicked this summer and we kick off the fall with my sister in law Melanie getting married !! Clearly I should have plenty to write about ;)
