Kids Morning Out
Last year a couple of my favorite bloggers wrote about their toddlers going to programs that were once a week for a few hours ... Toddlers Morning Out , Kids Morning Out , Nursery School ... Etc. After talking to some friends and clients I found out so many moms I know sent their precious little ones to something similar arouhd here. I called back in February and got Max in , the last of 2 spots !!
Fast forward to this morning.... His first class. I've been a nervous wreck. It's no secret my little man is attached to me and prefers no one taller than him speak in his direction.
They had suggested we literally drop them off , give a kiss and sprint to our cars. Of course he came after me but I kept walking , I stayed around the corner and never heard more than a few whines from him which I take as a great sign. Of course I cried in my car and called Matt once I finally calmed down. In the future this time will be great to do quick errands and catch up at home but today I didn't go farther than 10 minutes from the school just in case they called me.
It does get easier...a little ;-)
