Cheaper by the Dozen

The original Cheaper by the Dozen has always been one of my favorite movies. I love big families , which is ironic since I grew up pretty much an only child to my mom. I don't believe all the hype of only children are brats. I was spoiled for sure but I knew how to work and how to share. I think whatever size family works for you is the one that's perfect :).

I'm not sure what Matt and I's perfect number will be in the end but for right now it's 4.... Max is going to be a big brother !!!

Let's back up ... We knew we wanted more kids and thought this summer or fall would be a perfect time to explore that. Then we got a suprise ..... one morning this spring after our morning walk, Max and I made coffee ... Which tasted like crapola ! I checked the creamer and the K-cup and thought " huh "..... Then it dawned on me the only other time in my life I hated coffee was when I was pregnant with Maxwell. This started a 3 day test taking frenzy. Some people knit , run or read for hobbies .. I apparently take pregnancy test as a hobby. I couldn't believe it so clearly the only logical thing to do was take every test on the market.  Very faint , then darker then bam. May 15th, 2 years to the day that I found out we were expecting Max. This baby is due January 22..Maxwell was due January 23 :).

So far this pregnancy has been great. Second time around , still not sick , still hate chicken and still obsess over chicken minis ( exception to the rule ). We've kept this one to ourselves a little more. I'm not really sure why , but it's felt like our special little secret. We can't wait to find out if Max will have a little brother or sister.
