Week 37

I cannot believe that as I sit here and type this I am 38 weeks pregnant ! I remember the single digit weeks and praying that this little miracle would grow into a healthy baby. I remember being 12 weeks , hearing his heartbeat and counting down the days till we would find out the gender .Each week that passes its gets more and more real lol. You'd think the massive quantities of baby gear or my ever expanding tummy would slap some reality into me but it's still so surreal.
When I was younger I might not of known what career path I wanted to take , where I wanted to live , where I would go to school.....but I've had a longing in my heart for as long as I can remember to be a wife and a mama. Becoming a wife was more than I could of ever prayed for. God designed Matt for me , every single thing about him makes him my perfect match. I've been so in awe of Gods goodness and His grace throughout meeting , dating and marrying Matt. I remember once last winter thinking " this is the best thing ever ,even if it's only us for the next 50 years I will be content and so thankful for this beautiful life ". Why would I doubt Gods plan for more ? Finding out Matt and I would be parents ......all I could do was smile and weep with gratitude for this precious gift God placed in our care. Will there be struggles , obstacles and days we want to pull our hair out or run for the border ? Of course ..... But that's this beautiful mess called life.:)

How far along? Week 37
Total weight gain: lol
Maternity clothes? the Stretchier the better
Stretch marks? I've got a new one ... Thankfully it'll never be seen as itsy bitsy bikinis and I have never been bffs
Sleep ? That's a joke
Best moment this week: Watching little man on the monitor at the drs office and seeing his strong heartbeat
Miss Anything? Sleep , coffee , putting my own shoes on , walking ( since I'm more than waddling now haha)
Movement : It's getting cramped in there for him but he is still squirming around
Food cravings: Cookie cake
Symptoms: Sadly the swelling and the blood pressure are getting a little nutty
Anything making you queasy or sick: no
Labor Signs: I'm having alot of Braxton Hicks mixed with a few real contractions. Nothing crazy or regular.
Wedding rings on or off? officially off and it makes me so sad.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but occasionally have a crazy moment. Say a prayer for my husband lol
Looking forward to: Being done with work. Only two more work days!
