At Last !

I am the girl that loves holidays. I love any excuse to gather with family , decorate , shop and eat . But there is one holiday I have always hated , and I know I'm not alone....New Years Eve. When I was younger it was fun , we would all pile in the car and head north to my aunt and uncles. We'd shop , play games, video our resolutions and laugh till we cried. As I got older every year was the big " oh whats the plan for New Years ?" debate. Sometimes I gathered with friends , stayed with family , or one year I actually got a colonoscopy so that I had an excuse to stay home and hate the night lol. Don't get me wrong , there are some sporadic good ones mixed in there , but as a whole I usually am not a fan. All this changed for me last year. I was so excited to spend the evening with Matt and our families. I'm sure the fact that I knew he was the one and I'd have a NYE date for eternity now helped haha. This year we struck gold again. I had my first " fancy" new years. No more hating this holiday , at last I've found the secret to loving it ;)
