After over a year without a "real" vacation I am finally on the beach and it is incredible. I used the word " real" because in my mind its not a vacation unless I'm on a beach or in a pool.  After all the craziness of the past few months , having a week away is such a blessing. Its Matt and I's first time on a family vacation and its so much fun. Of course as I predicted he isn't as big of a fan of the sun as I am but he's still having a good time. Just being away with no responsibilities , no work , no school , no feeling obligated to take care of everyone else.....its wonderful! Two days in and I'm already a new girl !! So far I've floated in the pool , sat at the beach , slept in ....repeat. I've been a good girl and ran yesterday , which was unnecessary had I know I would get deathly sick from some crab legs last night. Deathly is clearly an exaggeration lol.  Can't wait to continue the week soaking up the sun , relaxing , and singing oldies with Mallory at the top of our lungs at the pool :)
