Where would I be ?!

I've made it no secret this week that its "Birthday Week" ! If you have Facebook , see me , or live in the tri-state area for that matter you can hear me talking about it. I'm sure some of my excitement comes from being an "only child " ! ( I realize you are probably wondering why I put quotes around that. Yes I have brothers but they are 14 years older than me and we never lived under the same roof so I was Mom and Al's only ) My mom always makes my birthday special. She would have surprises for me all month long, she would know exactly what I'd been wishing for even though I hadn't asked, she would have countdowns on all the big birthdays, she would throw me incredible parties , make incredible homemade cakes and make me feel like the most important girl in the world. I honestly could tell you what we did on every singe birthday! Maybe the first few are fuzzy but I have pictures to help me remember ! Chuckecheese , skating rink, Disney , sleepovers , pool parties at hotels, surprise trip to Bahamas  ....mom and Al always did something fun. I know these all sound a little over the top or you wanna think I was spoiled but its more about the memories we created. I can remember every experience and there is nothing more precious than the times I have with those I love. 

My birthday is such a special time for my mom and I ! Her pregnancy wasn't the easiest and by the grace of God I came out healthy .....yes and BIG ....all 12 lbs of me. Its funny that we celebrate the birth of an individual instead of the incredible woman that gave birth that day. Lets be real....no mama....no bday ....get my point ? Its the day her and I became the insane duo that we are. I know she has made so many hard choices and sacrifices these last 29 years on my behalf and not a day goes by that I"m not grateful.
